I'm known as a glass bead maker, artist, photographer and nature lover. My beads are made by melting glass rods in a torch flame. It's an ancient art skill known as lampworking or flameworking. From the start of actually making a glass bead, to adding the finishing touches of a completed piece, my work is as unique as the person wearing it. Creating beads and designing jewelry takes time and patience. Support artists and buy handmade. Thank you for visiting. Enjoy my work!
This bracelet has thirteen handmade glass lampwork beads. I made each bead, one at at time by melting rods of glass in a torch flame on a mandrel. This process is called lampworking or flameworking. The base color of the beads are opaque lilac. Colorful accents dot around and aqua rondelle crystal beads are used. Sterling silver ball beads and a sterling silver toggle clasp have been added.
