My Excellent customer service experience with Donna @ cgbeads

Image
It's my first time, after years of admiring what a beadroller can do, actually using a beadroller.
How hard could it be. So I placed my order. It wasn't easy until I emailed Donna @ cgbeads. I explained my frustration with both the disc and ribbed stubby bicone. I couldn't get the disc to be narrow enough to fit in the mold and couldn't get the ribs or shape with the bicone. She promptly replied with a soothing "you're doing fine" which immediately helped my attitude. With her technique suggestions, I went back to the torch for another try.
I was amazed how much calmer I felt with her wisdom under my belt. Here is proof of my experience. Thank you again www.cgbeads.com/

I ordered my first beadrollers and received them today from cgbeads by Donna Felkner

Just look how these were packed and delivered ! The beadrollers were wrapped in tissue paper and slipped into these red organza bags. Now that is impressive, isn't it. Customer service goes a long way. Thank youcgbeads by Donna Felkner
This is the first time I'm ordering beadrollers. I picked the stubby bicone and disc shapes.

I've seen other artists use molds and have been wanting to try them for a long time. I'm excited to try them out.

Turbo charge your body with vitamins and minerals. I got my Juiceman juicer going with this recipe.

I have a wonderful book, "The Top 100 Juices" by Sarah Owen. You can easily find it on Amazon.com.

I tucked away my juicer awhile ago and decided to bring it back to my kitchen. Today I'm trying out beet, carrot and apple juice.

I enjoy hearing from you. Leave your comments below~

New Animated Visual Effects on my website. Fireworks and Flames ~ Brooklyn Bead Goddess

Image
Good morning. Happy Monday~ Over the weekend I worked on my website. http://www.brooklynbeadgoddess.com/ I must admit, I put hours and hours editing, adding pictures, adding pages, changing colors. I'm always researching and learning what your website should look like and try to improve mine constantly. My website is through Wix.com. Wix.com is very user friendly and I've found their customer service is excellent. I played around with some of the many animated visual effects they offer. It was fun to add some booming fireworks to my opening home page. I've learned it's important to have detailed information along with photos describing your work on your first page.Wix.comoffers beautiful choices to add. Check out my 'hot fire flames' I used as a back drop on my "about" pages.
If you'd like to share your website ideas and experiences, please feel free to leave your comments. It's always helpful to learn from other artists.

Women On The Move Meetup at The Black-n-Blue Restaurant

Met up with a group from Women On The Movelast night. I found this group from a fun site called meetup.com. You can find groups in your area associated in many different activities. (hiking, crafts, photography, art, etc.)  We met at a wonderful restaurant .The food was delicious at Black n Bleu. I had the blackened chicken melt which was blackened chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, BACON, and avacado dressing on grilled sour dough bread. Our waitress was fast and patient with the twelve of us laughing and telling our life stories in the short amount of time being there. Two women ordered the lobster mac n cheese which they said was excellent. I'll have to try that next time. I showed my handmade glass bead jewelry and explained how I melt glass with a torch flame. The others talked of their talents, jobs, being unemployed, being self-employed. The evening ended with a great strong cup of B54 coffee. Wonderful group and I look forward to the next meet-up.
