Handmade Bead Jewelry Handcrafted Lampwork Glass Wire Wrapped Copper Heart Toggle

Wire wrapped bead necklace with six of my handmade lampwork glass beads mixed with earthy natural stone beads. Amber 20 gauge non tarnish premium quality wire used throughout.

I've been working on this piece for weeks. Wire wrapping each bead 'til I was satisfied with the flow of the design. I'm loving the look.

Who wants some carrot cake? I do !

Made this carrot cake with the pulp from my carrot juice
Added some cream cheese frosting and took it over to my neighbor's house to help me eat it.

Delicious!!
Creamed butter, cream cheese a 2/3 cup of confectioners sugar ( that's all I had) ). I was worried it wasn't enough sugar but it was great!

Today is the First day of Fall.

                           .

I love looking up and seeing beautiful colors in the sky

What do you do with your juicer pulp?

As I get older I'm more aware of what foods I choose to eat. I'm more aware of people eating only "organic" and proudly announcing "I'm a vegan." I wonder how they got to that point in their lives and decided I'm going to ask them next time I see them.
I'm interested in their story. Most people I know weren't brought up eating whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
Since I've been reading about the benefits of juicing, I've been using my juice machine. I like the idea of getting back to basics when I'm hungry. Apple juice made with apples. Carrot juice made with carrots. Maybe mix them together and add some kale. What I don't like is dumping the pulp in the garbage disposal. I don't know what else to do with it. Today I've decided to look into it. So, I'm on the hunt for some good ideas.
This morning has me searching for carrot pulp recipes and I'm wondering..."What do you do you do with your juicer pulp?"

Where did you get that beautiful piece of jewelry?

For more information about this piece, click here

"Oh, I have nothing that 'goes' with that."

I find that such an odd statement.
Why not build your outfit around your jewelry?

My jewelry is meant to be seen when you walk into the room. Each piece is a statement of your personality. It's a conversation starter. People see it, touch it, ask you where you got it. And you reply with your story.
What you thought when you first saw the piece. How do you feel when you wear it. Then you explain how each bead was made by melting glass in a torch flame by an artist. Not store-bought.

See? Told you my work is a conversation starter.....

Who remembers the Troll Doll ? These are mine.

,,

Troll doll From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Troll dolls were originally created in 1959 by Danish fisherman and woodcutter Thomas Dam. Dam could not afford a Christmas gift for his young daughter Lila and carved the doll from his imagination. When other children in the Danish town of Gjøl saw the troll doll, they wanted one as well.[1] Dam's company Dam Things began producing the dolls in plastic under the name Good Luck Trolls

A troll doll, also known as a Dam doll, is a type of plastic doll with furry hair depicting a troll. They were originally created in 1959 by Danish woodcutter Thomas Dam. They became one of the United States' biggest toy fads in the early 1960s. They became fads again in brief periods from the 1970s through the 1990s and were copied by several manufacturers under different names. During the 1990s several video games and a video show based on troll dolls were created. In 2003 the Dam company restored their United States copyrights, stopping unlicensed production. In 2005 the brand was modernized under the name Trollz, but it failed in the marketplace.

Spectacular lampwork glass bead necklace

I just love making these 'dot' designs when I'm at the torch.

This necklace is simply spectacular.

Don't you agree?

Bob Dylan AND Bob Weir. Wow and I was there !

Oh the times, they are a changing..

Crunchy leaves. Birds singing a different tune. School bus sounds early in the morning.

Seasons change so slightly every day. I am enjoying being able to change with the times too. Are you ready for a change?

Maybe it's time.

Darker colors don't have to mean you can't be bright.
