I'm a woman with many talents. Glass bead maker, photographer, boxer dog lover and cats too. Gardening keeps me busy. Nature and flowers. Colorful artist. I create my own beauty wherever I am. Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile.
This week we are taking a look at Pam at A BEAD THING. She has some beautiful bracelets, rings, necklaces and pendants. I think her bead woven jewelry is unique. Pam loves the look of bead woven jewelry
because of the enormous variety in colors available and the diversity in
style that can be created. Check out Pam and her handcrafted items. You can find her shop here https://handmadeartists.com/shop/beadthing
Handmade Artists Forum is a great place for finding artists who create 100%handmade items. It's fun, informative and friendly. Artists get involved with many groups offered here. Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Blogs. Looking for some constructive criticism or just feel like chatting? Visit the "chat" section group every Thursday evening (8:30 Eastern US time) and meet some new friends.
Share creations like that first necklace or a painting. Seek advice from others who've "been there, done that". Learn how to make your creations better and take better pictures of them. Offer help to those turning their happy pastime into a full fledged business. Support each other when you just can't seem to make it look like it looks in your head. Have fun and always remember; the crafts may be different, but we are all passionate about art and always respect each others' dreams.
I like using hematite in my jewelry designs. Hematite is believed to transform negativity and promote optimism. It is known as a grounding stone, thought to increase courage, self-esteem and reduce stress. It is a good stone to aid
communication as well as for those just learning how to meditate. It
acts as a stabilizing force to balance the mind, body and spirit.
Handmade Lampwork Earrings with hematite beads on Sterling silver french ear wires. You can purchase these by visiting my shop here https://handmadeartists.com/
Handmade brown and green glass beads made by melting glass in a torch
flame. I love the contrast of these two colors. Bottom brown bead has a
green swirl design, top brown bead has raised green dots and drops of
crystal clear glass on each dot. Intricate, one of a kind pair of
earrings. Sterling silver ball beads on top, middle and bottom. Sterling silver
wire wrapped onto a soldered jump ring connected to Sterling silver
french ear wire. Find them here handmadeartists.com/
