I'm known as a glass bead maker, artist, photographer and nature lover. My beads are made by melting glass rods in a torch flame. It's an ancient art skill known as lampworking or flameworking. From the start of actually making a glass bead, to adding the finishing touches of a completed piece, my work is as unique as the person wearing it. Creating beads and designing jewelry takes time and patience. Support artists and buy handmade. Thank you for visiting. Enjoy my work!
You'll find a variety of handmade items in this shop. Karen and her husband are true artists.
Here are a few of my favorites.
This is a Fossil coral pendant made with silver and gold glass seed beads. It measures a long 28 inches with a toggle clasp. It was inspired by the colors of nature while gazing out of a window. Lovely isn't it? You can find it by clicking on this link.
Here is a wonderful necklace made with Amber, Turquoise and Bone Hairpipe.I like the nickel fluted round beads and the pewter feathers. It measures 24 inches and here is the link.
Take a look at the beautiful detail on this Amber Tree of Life Trinket Box. Each bead is hand sewn. Amber chips were used for the leaves and the trunk is full of brown and gold seed beads. It's also lined with black felt. A perfect gift for someone special in your life. Here's the link.
