Bead Soup Blog Party 2ND REVEAL DATE IS HERE.

Today is the day of the 2nd Reveal for the 7th annual Bead Soup Blog Party. A big Thank You to Lori Anderson and everyone who has made this event possible. What is a Bead Soup Blog Party? It's where two designers swap a bead soup (a clasp, a focal piece and a mix of beads) with one another and then design something out of their soup mix.
I'm proud to tell you my partner for this Bead Soup is
Ali McCarthy from Northwood Creative Studio.

This is what Ali sent me! I fell in love with the enamel she does and she's into lampwork (like me) so I'm especially fond of the glass beads she has made.
They all came in these beautiful boxes which she made herself. Wow~ weeeee~

First I made these earrings with the great enamel beads, copper headpins and swarovski crystals Ali sent. I added my own purple lampwork with raised dot designs and some copper french ear wires. So Cute!

Next is this necklace. I knew I wanted the dragonfly as the focal piece. I keep seeing wire wrapped beads on chains and like that rustic look. I thought it was time to try it myself.

I wire wrapped Ali's lampwork and enamel beads with copper artistic wire. The enamel flower clasp she made dangles and adds a garden theme to this piece.

The last piece has a soft, subtle look to it. Ali's hollow lampwork beads take center stage up front.

A few enamel beads, swarovski crystals and small cat's eye beads were added for a beautiful mixture of blues, greens and lavender.

Thank you Ali for the wonderful bead soup. It was fun !

(This is a pic of what I sent to Ali ) You can see what she made on her blog too. Here is her link. http://www.northwoodscreativestudio.blogspot.com/
