BHB...Big Hole Beads. What are your favorite handmade items?

I handmade these glass beads on a big mandrel (rod) to make the hole extra big.
Now I can slip it on any of my necklaces to make a bold statement.

Try taking a class to expand your artistic possibilities. I usually work with glass. Thought I'd try silversmithing.

Thank you Jean Van Brederode for hosting and Nancy Powell-Sacco for teaching. I met a bunch of fun artists too. Here is my Spinner Ring. ..oh how I love   soldering...(not!)

Check out the other classes offered.

Garcia originally performed all the instruments on the song himself on the studio version, with the exception of drums, which Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann played.

The group's surviving members are gearing up for their last-ever performances in celebration of their 50th anniversary. The three gigs will take place at Chicago's Soldier Field this July and will feature guests Trey Anastasio and Bruce Hornsby; these gigs will be broadcast via pay-per-view
